Premium PVC
Our preferred option for most projects. Resists moisture and insects, never needs staining or painting, and the colour runs all the way through the board. Occasional cleaning is the whole maintenance plan. Many products carry manufacturer warranties of up to 50 years.
Recommended for almost every home.
Cedar
Our natural option for people who love real wood. Cedar resists insects and weathering far better than standard lumber. It does need periodic staining to keep its colour, in exchange for a look nothing synthetic quite matches.
Recommended if you want wood and will stain it.
Pressure-treated pine
Modern pine isn't what it used to be. Demand has put younger, less dense lumber on the market, and we've watched it twist, check and rot years earlier than homeowners expect. Rather than offer the cheapest material, we offer ones we can stand behind.
We don't build with it.
What's under the boards is the part that matters.

Do you repair decks or only replace them?
We don't do small patch repairs. Repairing isolated sections of an older deck usually delays the inevitable while hidden structural issues get worse. If a deck can be safely resurfaced while keeping the structure, we'll tell you. If replacement is the smarter long-term investment, we'll be honest about that too.
Why don't you build with pressure-treated pine?
Modern pine lumber is younger and less dense than it used to be, and we've seen it fail to last. We install premium PVC decking or cedar, products we can stand behind.
What does "built above code" mean?
Stronger framing, proper hardware, and deeper and wider footings where appropriate, so the deck is built for long-term durability rather than just to pass inspection.
Can I see the deck before it's built?
Yes. During the consultation we can digitally build the deck and apply it to a photo of your home, so you see the finished result before construction begins.
What warranty comes with a deck?
